With 14 years of experience in dentistry, I’m proud to serve as the office administrator alongside Dr. R David Brumbaugh. My career began as a registered dental assistant and has evolved through leadership roles including lead assistant, office manager, and director overseeing 10 practices. This diverse experience has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of clinical care, patient experience, insurance, financial coordination, team development, and the strategic operations of a thriving dental practice.

Dentistry is more than a career to me, it is a passion. I believe exceptional dentistry begins with exceptional patient care, and every detail matters. From the moment a patient walks through our doors, my goal is to ensure they feel welcomed, valued, and confident in the care they receive.

I’m especially proud of the culture we’ve created at our practice. Our team is close-knit, collaborative, and committed to going beyond expectations. We believe in supporting one another, stepping outside of our individual roles when needed, and creating an experience that reflects the highest standard of care.

Behind the scenes, I focus on creating an organized and seamless environment so our clinical team can remain focused on what they do best: providing outstanding dentistry. I also believe in continuous growth and education and participate in programs such as Breakaway to further develop my leadership and industry knowledge, allowing me to better serve our patients and team.

Outside of the office, family is at the center of my life. My spouse and I spend much of our time supporting our children and cheering them on at their sporting events. Our son participates in select baseball, cross-country, tennis, and track, while our daughter enjoys softball, soccer, and basketball.

When I have a quiet moment, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and organizing. I’m grateful to have built a career that allows me to combine my passion for dentistry, leadership, and people with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Ronnie

Hi, I'm Ronnie, and I joined our team in June 2026. I have a background in biology and completed a two-year dental assistant training program at Fortis Institute. One of my favorite things about working here is being part of a team that genuinely cares about every patient who walks through the door.

I believe that a friendly smile and compassionate communication can make all the difference during a dental visit. Whether I'm greeting you at the front desk or helping coordinate your appointments, my goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of from the moment you arrive.

When I'm not at the office, you can find me hiking, camping, or climbing mountains. I also love reading and working out—staying active helps me bring my best energy to our patients every day.

Jackie

Melisa

Melisa joined our team in August 2024. She enjoys working alongside an amazing team and appreciates the patients she has the opportunity to care for. She contributes to the success of the practice by supporting her team, communicating with and educating patients, and helping make sure each patient has a good experience in the office.

Melisa graduated from UNT Dallas with summa cum laude recognition, earning a bachelor's degree in education. She later attended Concorde for dental hygiene school, where she received high honors and the Golden Scaler Award. She has worked in the dental field since 2013 and loves her profession.

Outside of the office, Melisa is a soccer mom to two boys, ages 5 and 7. She has been married for five years and has been with her husband for 13 years. Their family also includes a Goldendoodle. In her free time, Melisa loves spending time with her family, jogging and running, and has run marathons and 5Ks in the past. She also enjoys decorating for the holidays and working on DIY projects.
